Smoke Network is a social media DApp (decentralized app) built for the stoner community that rewards its users in cryptocurrency for posting stoner content on the network. This can include photos, articles and anything and everything marijuana.
On top of getting paid to post content, users of the app can also smoke up and curate other users content via up-votes, and get paid for that too! Through an innovative user rewards model, stoners now have a reason to get off their buts and join an active community of fellow stoners online, minus all the pitfalls of large corporate controlled social media giants such as Facebook; all the while getting paid for their contributions.
Smoke Network was born out of a genuinely involved cannabis community founded by the Smoke Network with half a million users on Facebook. After being directly exposed to the unethical banning and removal of countless legitimate marijuana businesses pages, it was clear that something needed to change.
Stoners won’t need a high level of technical knowledge to use the platform. Its user-friendly design makes it easy to navigate, even for users who may have never dealt with cryptocurrencies before. The native currency SMOKE used on the platform will be easily tradable for real-world money or Bitcoin. The network is automatic and payments are made every day based on the user’s contributions to the network.
